I've had the extreme good fortunate of being a... patient of Dr. Rockwell for several years now. I was referred to Dr. Rockwell back in 2019, to assist with complications arising from a latissimus dorsi reconstruction (bilateral mastectomy) that was performed in Toronto. For many months, Dr. Rockwell performed several fluid aspirations from my lower shoulder/back due to a seroma complication that arose from this complex prior surgery. In 2021, she then performed a capsulectomy, essentially 100% repairing the seroma complication. Most recently, Dr. Rockwell completed what I hope to be the final of my breast reconstruction journey. Through every procedure, every appointment, every operation, I found Dr. Rockwell to be compassionate, patient with my questions, warm and engaging, and very thorough in her explanation of my options and her opinion around which course of action she felt was the best for myself and my situation. I just can't find enough words to convey my gratitude for this doctor taking me under her care, her level of surgical skill and the amazing outcomes I've experienced as a result. Five years ago, Dr Rockwell did an unbelievably... excellent carpal tunnel release for my R hand. Today the scar in my palm doesn't show, even though I stupidly managed to get an infection in it while gardening too early post op!!She saw me through that "hiccough" and it healed beautifully in spite of myself, thanks to Dr Rockwell!Last week she removed a lesion from my Rbottom eyelid. She again treated me with gentle composure that was reassuring and relaxing for me.Today, a week later, the stitches have dissolved, and the teeny scar doesn't even show. Was referred to Dr. Rockwell by my family Dr.... regarding damage to my thumb (damaged capsule -torn ligament). She was thorough with her examination and took the time to explain the injury and recommended continuing with splint for a couple month with a follow up to ensure proper healing.Found her to be very personable and would highly recommend her.read more

excellent! I had a finger tendon that was torn..... not properly treated by another surgeon . Dr. Rockwell splinted it and advised me that ANY removal of the splint for 4 months would require starting over.. I was diligent, followed her advice and my finger is now fine. It looked like a claw before.read more

Wonderful experience with Dr. Gloria Rockwell,... her staff and the Riverside Hospital. The nurses in pre op, post op, the whole process was Just phenomenal. I met with Rockwell before my surgery, she went through what was what, what the plan was and everything went according to schedule as planned, finished earlier then expected actually. After surgery Rockwell popped in the recovery room cracked a smile, tapped my foot to see how I was and carried on.
